sAVER cARRIAGE SETWORKS (Line Shaft)

MASS Set Shaft Carriage Setworks is designed to control a line shaft carriage. A color touch screen is mounted in the sawyer's console, vertically or horizontally, for operation, setup, calibration, and diagnostics. The setworks comes standard with the ability to control (2) two forward speeds, (1) one reverse, and a brake.
The carriage only needs a forward and reverse function for the setworks to operate. Optionally, the setworks can be configured to control a vertical edger from the same position controller as the carriage. It is prewired at the factory, so installation is quick and straightforward. Upgradable to MASS proportional valve and/or Linear Positioning carriage setworks at a very affordable price! It features all of the following distinct advantages:

MASS SCANNING SYSTEMS

The MASS Scanning system is of tremendous benefit to the sawyer and is practically transparent to him. The MASS Scanner System sets taper, opening face and automatically builds cutting stacks based on mill specified parameters. It is an excellent light curtain replacement using 3D technology (Bottom sensors are not required). The bottom line is more usable lumber in less time, which equates to a quick return on investment. An experienced sawyer will love the automatic features, while an inexperienced sawyer will come up to production much quicker.

RESAW SETWORKS

The MASS Resaw Setworks is designed to control either horizontal resaws or linebar resaws. This system has many features and can be configured for different unique applications. Each system is prewired, making installation simple and easy. Also provided is an in-depth manual and easy to read wiring diagrams. Below are some of the many features this system provides.
